Rest in peace Allan. You will be missed. I met Allan nearly 50 years ago when we were in Boy Scout troop 123 in North Arlington. Along with his older brother Bob, we became friends. As it happens, I was the friend who joined him on that 500 mile bicycle trip to Ottawa. And yes, it was a grand adventure. Even though I later moved first to Colorado and then to Washington, we always kept in touch and remained friends. He was a good person and a good friend. I will remember him for so long as I live.

I first met Allan when our sons were in Boy Scouts together. I was struck from the start by what a warm, compassionate, friendly, and intelligent person he was. We had lots of interesting conversations while our sons were on their adventures (and misadventures) on scout campouts. We stayed in touch through the years by way of our neighborhoods and common friends. Allan accomplished much in life with his family and successful business, and he was immensely rich in his relationships with friends. We will miss him and our condolences to Glenn and Allan's entire family.
