Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 11:00am with Father Ariel. Visitation will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, on August 9, 2024, at 9:30 - 11:00am.
Dorothy was born in Elizabeth, NJ to August and Helen Englert on March 5, 1924. She attended Linden High School then went on to Katherine Gibbs Finishing School. She worked as an Executive Secretary in New York City for the President of Sterling Drug Pharmaceuticals for many years. Not only was Dorothy a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she also devoted her time, compassion, and support to caring for family and friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a comforting word.
Dorothy is survived by her eldest daughter Joanne Dunlap (Brian Dunlap), youngest daughter Allison Sot (Edward Sot), four grandchildren Jenna Engelen (Dunlap), Andra Stephens (Dunlap), Olivia Sot, and Edward Sot, and two great grandchildren Julia Engelen and Adam Stephens.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Kusner Jr.
