Obituary of Dennis Troianelli

Dennis Troianelli, 61, was called home to our Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012. He passed peacefully at home, and was able to fulfill his final wish of spending time with his precious granddaughter Abigail. Dennis was born in Dover, NJ, and for the past 25 years resided in Basking Ridge. He recently spent his summers in Wildwood Crest. Dennis was employed by Omega Plumbing, Dover for over 30 years, and most recently by Aramark for the Bernards Township school system. Dennis enjoyed his place by the beach and cruising to warm locations. He was a Yankees, Jets, and Grateful Dead fan. Dennis was also an active member of the Society Hill community known as the "mayor", and will be remembered for cooking over the past 25 years for the annual pool party, with his wonderful friend Jeff, who he will now join in heaven. Dennis' greatest joy in life was being there for his family and friends who he loved so much, and for anyone in need. Dennis is survived by the love of his life, wife and best friend of 42 years, Lynn (Henderson); cherished son Ryan and his girlfriend Jenn Grant of Bedminster; granddaughter Abigail Lynn; sister-in-law Pam Jenkins and husband Ron of Westwood; brother-in-law Jeff Henderson and wife Maria of Dover; brother Ralph; sister Linda; and special nieces and nephews, Melina, Eleni, Matthew, Marc, John, Mariah, Martha, Carrie, April, Renee, and Danny. Dennis will be missed by so many. He was such a kind man who bought so much joy and laughter into the lives of all he met. For all who knew and loved Dennis, he was one of a kind! A funeral service will be held on Friday December 28, 2012 at 11am at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
