Richard Vassallo, of Bedminster NJ, 67, passed away April 24th, 2024, peacefully at his home. Mr. Vassallo was born in Plainfield, NJ, the only child of the late Roger Vassallo and Dolores Cannella Vassallo Wiggett.

Surviving are his wife, Theresa Tedesco Vassallo; daughter Caroline Vassallo Arena and son-in-law Chris Arena of Mount Laurel, NJ; daughter Crystal Vassallo and son-in-law Jason Hotelling of Orlando, Florida.

Honorably discharged from the US Air Force, Mr. Vassallo was passionate about spending time with his family; cheering on the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills; was an avid bowler; enjoyed cooking and entertaining; and loved telling jokes and “making a long story longer”.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday April 27th, 2024 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
