Obituary of Douglas W Kath

Douglas W. Kath February 1, 1951 – January 21, 2024 Doug was an avid sportsman and lived life experiencing the outdoors and beauty of nature. Doug’s activities included Skeet Shooting, building a Sunfish Sailboat, taking 100-mile Bike Rides, racing Hobbie Cat Sailboats, Surfcasting, Geocaching, Tree Climbing, Hiking, Kayaking and Photography. Doug became an expert at mastering these sports. Doug had many hiking and kayaking adventures and took spectacular photographs as viewed on his Facebook Photo Gallery. Doug met many people on his outings and became friends with their dogs. Doug was known for always helping others with household projects. Doug was an accomplished woodworker and perfectionist and a mentor to his brother. Doug is survived by his brother, Gary and sister-in-law Janice (Scotch Plains), and his daughter, Kristine (Glendale, Arizona). There will be no memorial service scheduled at this time.
