Obituary of Doris J Behre

Doris J. Behre, 78 od Bernardsville died on Nov. 11that her home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Born in Ozark, Alabama, she resided in Bernardsville for 53 years coming from Madison. Doris was employed at the former Shady Grove Restaurant in Basking Ridge for 25 years where she was a food server and worked at the Coffee Shop in Bernardsville also for 25 years. She served as a class mother at St. Elizabeth's School in Bernardsville. Doris is survived by her husband, Howard J. Behre, Jr, a son George Behre of Bedminster, two daughters, Debra Mangano Easton, Pa. and Charlotte Baker of Hellertown, Pa. She was pre deceased by her son Howard J. Behre, III on August 17, 2012. Also surviving are seven grandchildren Robert Mangano of Camp Hill, Pa., Christopher Mangano of Gaithersburg, Md. Karen Mangano Of Easton, Pa., James Behre of Bernardsville, Joseph Baker of Hellertown, Pa., Sandy Behre of Bernardsville, Jillian Marchioni of Leroy, NY, brother James Bowman, sisters Joyce Howell, Sherry DeCesare all of Ozark, Alabama and sister Hazel Stewart of Leesville, SC. Friends may visit Thursday, Nov 15, 2012 5-7:45PM followed by a funeral service at 7:45PM at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge.
