You were very special to all of us and will be greatly missed. You inspired everyone in your family and had a heart of gold. Your smile would light up the room. And we all know those "Marino traits", we will try to hold onto those special memories forever with you in our heart. Your daughter will carry on what you taught her and already she's amazing!! You would be proud!
Love you,
Cousin Joann

EVER SINCE I CAN REMEMBER YOU WERE ONE OF THE ONLY WOMEN I COULD TURN TO. NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS HOW MUCH I WILL MISS YOU. ONE THING YOU ALWAYS TAUGHT ME WAS TO NEVER GIVE UP ON THE THINGS THAT I WANTED TO PURSUE, TO CHASE MY DREAMS, AND LOVE EVERYONE IN THE PROCESS. THIS FRIDAY NIGHT I'M GOING TO PLAY IN MY GAME AND FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON I WILL DEDICATE EVERY SNAP I TAKE TO YOU. I WILL ALSO DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO MAKING YOU PROUD OF THE BOY I AM NOW, AND THE MAN I WILL BECOME. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA. FOREVER AND ALWAYS - PHILIP

Dear Phil, Trudy, Phillip, Angelo, all of her treasured grandchildren, and spouses alike, Knowing "Johana" aka Jo, Joanne or however else she was affectionately called, was indeed a priviledge but being related to her was our honor. I am sure each and everyone one of you know how unconditionally she loved you and how hard she worked to give you the best life had to offer. Besides our love, admiration is just another emotion we have for her and we are truly going to miss her with all of our hearts. I know forever and ever she will be proud of you because each of you have a very special part of her alive in your hearts.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know that she has left a gap in our hearts as well.
Love Fiore, Kathy, Samantha, Alyssa, Tim and Michael

Take my hand, O Blessed Mother
Hold me firmly 'lest I fall
I grow nervous while walking and Humbly on thee call.
Guide me over every crossing,
Watch me when I'm on the stairs Let me know that you're beside me Listen to my fervent prayers.
Bring me to my destination Safely along the way Bless my every undertaking And my duties for the day.
And when evening creeps upon me I'll never fear to be alone Once again, O Blessed Mother Take my Sisters hand and lead her home.

I remember Mrs. Garubo from when she was my teacher at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School. She's the only teacher I remember by name from all my years there - that's how wonderful a person she was. God Bless Her! My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. Remember all the good times - that's how I recovered from the loss of my sister.

We will always remember how Joanne treated all of us like family. She always extended her hospitality to us and never made us feel like we burdened her or the family when we visited. Will miss her and hope the family always has fond memories. Much love, Michael, Sarah, Matt and Nate

When I became principal of Our Lady of Peace School Johanna was a blessing to me.
I knew I could trust that she was handling everything for grade 8 with efficiency and love for all the students. She was a gift to the school as many of the traditions that make OLP what it is today can be attributed to Johanna. She will be missed by all. I was privileged to have worked with her.
