Obituary of Josephine “Joan” McNally

Josephine Thole McNally, Joan, 85 of Hillsborough New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Hillsborough. The funeral service will be held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, New Jersey on Monday February 13th at 10 a.m. The burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 145 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Galloway & Crane Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

Mrs. McNally was born in Newark, New Jersey to Bernard and Nancy Thole on December 2, 1937. She went to high school at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child. She went on to earn a bachelors degree at Rosemont College. She worked as a realtor for Weichert Realtors and Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby's International Realty for many years. She enjoyed tennis and the beach.

Mrs. McNally is survived by her siblings, Bernard Thole, William and Mary Ellen Thole, Nancy Torsney, Barbara Finley, her children Joan Kim Porter and Nancy McNally, and her grand children Josephine Porter, William Porter, Dario Nicosia and Adriana Nicosia, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband George McNally and her siblings Charles and Sheryl Thole, and Brian Torsney.
