Obituary of Josephine Coniglione

Josephine Coniglione, nee Cataneo, passed away on Sunday, August, 7,2022. She was 82 years old and a resident of Brightview Senior Living In Warren, NJ. Jo, as she preferred to be called, grew up in Staten Island, NY. She was married for 54 years to Angelo Coniglione, who passed way in 2016. Jo has three children, Cathy Fersini-Campitiello, Troy Coniglione and Karen Contorno. Two sons in law Vincent Campitiello and Stefan Contorno. She has 8 grandchildren, Christopher Fersini, Brian Fersini, Thomas Fersini, Katelyn Fersini, Kristen Coniglione, Matthew Coniglione, Jenna Contorno and Tyler Contorno. A future granddaughter in law, Gina Matano, 4 step grandchildren Allison Campitiello, Justine Campitiello DeMario, Gabrielle Campitiello, Matthew Campitiello and one step great grandchild Cecilia DeMario.

Jo was a kind, loving, selfless, generous woman. She brightened everyone’s day when you were around her. She was always laughing, smiling and wanted to have a party. One of her favorite things to do was her once a month Tuesday night “club”. Her girlfriends started club over 60 years ago and still get together today. Jo will be sorely missed by all.
