Obituary of Linda A Burns

Linda A. Burns, 52, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 08, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Linda was born in Syosset, NY, before moving to Manhattan with her husband Michael. They later moved to Fort Lee before moving to Bernardsville NJ, to raise their 3 children. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from NYU in Journalism, and had a career in Public Relations before becoming a stay at home mom to be with her children. She loved to vacation with her family often in Montauk, NY. She was a fantastic cook, loved being a mother and especially loved being involved in her children’s sports. Linda is survived by her loving husband Michael Burns of 23 years. Her three children Jackson, Luke, and Kaylin Burns all of Bernardsville. She is also survived by her parents Richard Sica and his wife Gail, and her mother Barbara Sica, Her beloved brother Richard and wife Carla, her sister Jeanne Chester and husband Dr. Lenny Berkowitz. Beloved sister in law and loving aunt to 20 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 10:00am at St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
