Aunt Jeanette was always incredibly nice and caring. My mom's favorite Aunt and my Grandfather's favorite sister. Their relationship living so close to each other in the Orange's and then Basking Ridge is a model for what I look forward to with my sister later in life. Love, Chris Tortora

When I moved to South Orange 60 years ago, the Rosponds lived on the top of our little Dead End street. The years have blessed our families with so many fond memories from the crazy block parties to our Mother/Daughter Luncheons which sometimes included “Mrs Rospond’s famous iced tea” … best ever. Jeanette had a sweet, genuine heart, faith in God, and a strong dedication to her loved ones. I will miss her greatly… she was my friend. My Mom Maisie is pictured here with Jeanette.

My sweet godmother was always there for me. She was always so kind and cared so much for me and my family. She loved her six brothers to the nth degree and always identified as being the only girl. In her day she could play a mean game of ping pong. I will always treasure my memories of her and her devotion to her family. Love Denise
