Nans, thank you for all the memories over the years. There are too many to count that I will cherish forever. One that will always stick out to me is trying my hardest to be taller than you. Unfortunately I never quite made it (I blame my dads side). Thank you for being an amazing and supportive grandmother. You came to all my band concerts and a lot of my sports games, which meant so much to me. I will miss our chats and watching jeopardy with you. I will miss you dearly but I know you’re at peace. Love you Nans.

You were the best Mom ever!!!!! I will treasure many memories. Our lunches at Harrigan’s, and Dad always saying “why do you invite me, I don’t get a word in!”. Of course all the Christmas trees we decorated. Mom you were always there for the six of us with your love and support. Heck, you were there when we didn’t even know we needed your love and support. You put up a great strong Irish fight. Now it is your time to rest, and be with many friends and family. I know you, Carol and the whole gang are having a cocktail. I will miss, think, and send love and hugs to you everyday. Thank-you for being such a loving Mom, and even more so my friend.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mom, you are at peace now. There is no more pain or confusion. It was my honor to be one of your caretakers the last few years. You showed me how to do this as you raised your children, took care of your parents, Dad’s parents and finally Dad himself.
You got me through all my bumps and bruises especially the time I had the bicycle accident as you cleaned all the gravel out of my leg because I wouldn’t do it properly. I will miss our conversations where we discussed how much better the world would be with us running it. Our days on the beach in Spring Lake. Your sarcasm which you expressed verbally or by your facial expressions. Your annual show of your basketball skills from your CYO days. The CYO medal would come out and you would do your lay-up. I will treasure all my memories with you!
Rest in Peace, Mom. Until we meet again!

Nans
,
I already miss your love, compassion, great sense of humor, and how we laughed at each other sarcastic remarks.
I will treasure all our Spring Lake beach days with you and MaryPat, watching the New York Giants games, Christmas Tree shopping, Christmas brunch/dinner, family birthday parties, freezing at the Belmar St. Patricks’ Day Parade, Harrigan’s for lunch, watching Kelly and Kristen’s sporting events and just enjoying each other’s company.
With all my love your “Buddy” John

Aunt Pat I will miss you and your laugh. I had great times visiting you. Fun times at the Basking Ridge and Bernardsville houses. Trips to the shore even with car breakdowns and flying Twizzlers. I’m so happy Mom and Dad picked you to be my Godmother. I’ll love you always.

“ Hello Mother “
Is how I would announce myself when I went to see my mother these last few years.
She would say “ I’m here”
Mother, I enjoyed our chit chats as we watched TV and would discuss who your favorite
child is. Sorry, I promised Mom not to tell anyone who it is. I enjoyed driving to the beach
to look at the ocean with you. Mostly I enjoyed “ The Jack Histon smirk “ when I would say something
smart. You would stop in your tracks, raise your hands, and say something back to me. I’m glad to say I
have seen the “ The Jack Histon smirk “ in the next three generations of Histon’s.
I know you are at peace now since I saw your smile after you had passed.
May you enjoy singing and dancing to show tunes with Mrs. Brennan in heaven.
Your loving son Matthew
