Anne Cambria

Obituary of Anne Cambria

Anna Mae Cambria died peacefully July 9th at Holly Manor Center in Mendham, NJ. Anne grew up in Swoyersville, PA, was daughter to John and Rose Kosco, sister to John and Rosalie. Living in a coal mining town and daughter of a baker, she came from humble beginnings. As her survivors reflect on her life, it is her humility, work ethic and compassion which set a foundation for her nuclear family and everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Early in her adult years, Anne moved to NJ with her two young daughters, Donna and Vicki, accepting a position as an executive secretary at Mack Trucks in Plainfield. These were difficult times, but Anne persevered, never waivering in the care and upbringing of her children. At Mack, she met and married Joseph S Cambria, gave birth to a son, J. Joseph Cambria and enjoyed a loving marriage for 57 years. Her husband and children were always top priority, handling every at home responsibilty while maintaining a full time job. Anne put the best forward for family and friends. While spoiling her family with a warm and loving household, she never spoiled her children. With deep appreciation for a bountiful life, Anne always held us accountable. Accountability was paramount to her being. We love her and appreciate her for these lessons. Anne loved playing games which included ping pong, monopoly, cards, Yahtzee and the sport of tennis. She was also a published poet and an artist, which she shared with her daughters, son and granddaughters. She loved athletics and taught her son how to throw a baseball and football. We cannot say enough about our mother and our father cannot imagine a day without her wisdom, kindness and support. Anne is survived by her husband Joseph S Cambria, daughter Donna Stein and her husband Michael Stein, daughter Vicki Cambria, son J. Joseph Cambria and his wife Jennifer Cambria, granddaughters Olivia Voznenko and husband Yari, Reilly Cambria, Carly Cambria and grandson Benjamin Cambria. Also, a brother John Kosco, and many nieces and nephews. We will miss you Anne, Mother, Grandmother.
