Obituary of Margaret Mary Todd

Margaret M. Todd 73, of Jim Thorpe, PA passed away on April 25, 2021. Margaret was born on July 27, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated from North Arlington High School in North Arlington class of 1965. Margaret was employed in various positions, the last being a sales clerk at Stern’s Department Store. Quick to laugh and a good storyteller. Margie loved to read and played cards, especially a game called Contract Rummy. She also was an excellent cook and left many delicious recipes behind. When she was young, Margie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. During her life she owned many dogs and cats. Her favorite moments were visiting amusement parks, going to soccer games, and watching Professional Bull Riding on the television. Fifteen years ago Margie moved to Penn Forest (Jim Thorpe, PA) When she was unable to care for her dogs and cats, she made semi-pets of the deer in the backyard. She is predeceased by her parents Jesse and Margaret E. Todd. Margaret is survived by her three brothers, Gerald, Jesse, and Joseph. Her best friend of 62 years, Maureen. Nieces and Nephews: Melinda, Timothy, Jesse III, Angelina, Lindsey, Jenny, Noel, Tara, and Noelle. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday April 29, 2021 from 10AM -12PM at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
