Our condolences to Tom's family & many friends.
We've known Tom since he and Em first built and moved to Post House Road some 55 years ago.
Great neighbors, friends. Always a pleasant word, smile. Tom was always contributing to the neighborhood, such as
keeping up the PHR entrance for decades, chairing the PHR Ass'n, helping to fend off a prospective non-conforming building
complex, and a number of other ways.
He had found a desirable base to live for exercising his many interests, activities, far flung. We knew he was a busy person,
but after reading his obituary we still had to sit down and rest. Jim often passed Tom jogging around PHR. I jogged
clockwise, he jogged CCW. Always a nod and "Hello, nice day", no matter the season. As a former high school miler,
I'm guessing Tom with his energy level came close to breaking 2:00 minutes for the half, and maybe even going below.
Over the years we had many thoughtful, interesting discussions on local issues of concern, with an eye to what can be done about it, how can we help.
(We tried and missed the burial memorial. Not surprising, it was so heavily attended.)
We'll miss Tom. One of the Originals, a steady rock to us all.
