Obituary of Rita C McGuinness

Rita C. McGuinness, age 92, passed away peacefully at Bryan Manor Nursing Home in Chester, NJ on July 10, 2012. Rita was born in Bernardsville and was a life-long resident. She was a graduate of Bernards High School, class of 1938. She was a caregiver for her parents and brother. She was a very active member of the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bernardsville and was a former sacristan at the church and was also a Eucharistic Minister and Trustee of the church. Rita was also a member of the Rosary Society of the church. She is survived by four nieces, Kathy Thorn, Blacklich, Oh.,Patti Bottiglione, Port St. Lucie, Fl., Joan Murphy, West Barnstaple, Ma., Carol Minikus, Whitehouse, NJ. Also survived by nephews, James Barclay, Lebanon, NJ, Mike McGuinness, Phillipsburg, NJ, Timothy McGuinness, Phillipsburg, NJ, and Patrick McGuinness, Phillipsburg, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July, 16, 2012 10:30AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07920. Relatives and friends may visit on Sunday July 152-4PM at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 9 Church Street, Bernardsville, NJ and Monday from 9-10:15AM at the church prior to Mass.
