Nancy, Timmy, Mary and Sean,
One of the best things about living in Olean was having your family as our neighbors across the street. We had a lot of fun playing football in the yard and as classmates at Walsh. When I think of your Mom, I picture her right alongside your Dad. They were a perfect pair. Both our parents became good friends during those Olean years. I remember your Mom, always so thoughtful, sending dinner over to our house when my mom was sick with a strep throat. When my parents were transferred to Buffalo, your Mom was the one who encouraged my parents to settle in Orchard Park or “OP” as I remember her calling it. The move was a difficult one for my mom, but your Mom took mine under her wing and got her into bridge lessons, where my mother was able to meet new friends. Memories of your family bring a smile to my face and I hope the memories you have of your Mom will comfort you in the tough days ahead. It’s consoles me to think that now your Dad, Mom and Mickey are together. Love to each of you and your families.

I grew up in Elizabeth and babysat for all of you when you lived on Park Avenue. Your Mom and Dad were such lovely people. Looks like they’ve left behind quite a legacy with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Please accept my sincere condolences on what I know is such a huge loss.

Mom. Always loved NY Giants football. Her son Sean went to the same high school that Wellington Mara attended. Many years ago. But through Alex Webster and bill parcels her love of the giants certainly came through. Go Giants (even in this Covid life we all live in).

My mom always enjoyed a good laugh. One of the sayings she liked in times like these was the old Irish “May you be in heaven ten minutes after the devil knows you’re gone”!!!
She also greeted every day with a smile.
