Obituary of Andrew J Jarosz

Andrew J Jarosz, 87, of Basking Ridge NJ passed away at home on Friday, August 7, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Andrew was born on December 17 1932 in Irvington NJ. He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Stephen A Jarosz. He proudly served in the US Army , he completed his Undergraduate Degree at St Peter’s in Jersey City NJ and completed his Master’s Degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a retiree of L-3 Communications and spent many years serving the St James Church community as an usher. Loving husband, father and grandfather, Andrew is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Skiper. He was the beloved father of Scott A Jarosz and his wife Kristen of Succasunna NJ, Todd S Jarosz MD and his wife Patricia of Kentucky. In addition he is survived by four grandchildren, Scott Jr, Brian, Tyler and Jacqueline. He was predeceased by his youngest son Brian Christopher. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation held at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home on Wednesday August 12th from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St James Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge on Thursday, August 13th at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt Airy Rd Basking Ridge. Donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Basking Ridge NJ in his memory.
