Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs.Beldon’s passing . I did her hair at Fellowship Village for Years . I just love her what a classy, funny, beautiful lady . I will miss her and I’m so glad I got to meet her! We both liked golf!
Love, Margaret Gluch Todaro ( Mar-g)

I wanted to credit Joan with something that I have adored and cherished for most of my life: The Hunt. Ever since I was a child, I was blessed with an invitation to attend Joan's annual tailgate at Far Hills. It all started with her family plot. Till this day, I don't know how Joan was able to do it but she was able to obtain the most ideal tailgate location within the entire track. This plot provided views of both the inner track and finish line, a mild walk to the least used restrooms on the property, and space for a truck to bring in supplies. Even when she was unable to attend the races over the past few years, the woman still did what was needed to deliver an all-star experience. I still salivate at the beginning of every October over my excitement for her famous lobster bisque. But what I think will be her lasting legacy is her impact on her children's' generation.
Whether it was the annual repetition, her perfectionist attitude, or plain stubbornness, Joan successfully passed down this incredible tradition to the next group of Far Hills' leaders: Heather, Lynn, Kyra, and my mom. These women have been able to internalize Joan's decades of experience to carry on this event and I am convinced it will continue for decades to come. While this is only one small sliver of who Joan was and her impact on the world, I will forever be grateful to her for including me and my family in this sacred affair. I can still imagine every year: walking up to the plot, getting a big hug and smooch from her, and then her command to go eat something. Thank you Joan for providing the phenomenal experiences and I promise to carry your torch when my time has come. There is no doubt that you will be looking down on us this year with a bloody mary in hand for the 100th anniversary. Can't wait to see you in October.
