Obituary of Michael Mele

Michael J. Mele, 59 passed away suddenly at his home on July 15th, 2020. Born to Margaret (nee) Ranft and Michael Salvatore Mele on March 11, 1961 he was the oldest of seven children and grew up in Morristown, NJ. He moved to Bethlehem, PA in 2000. Michael was a professional mason and 'Jack of All Trades'. He was also a die-hard Mets and Jets fan. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother James. Michael is survived by his brother David (Vicky), sister Kathryn Rasmussen (Greg), sister Margie Kimmick (Kevin), brother Dan (Karen), brother Anthony (Lori) and sister-in-laws, Lisa Pamula (Drew), and Nancy Weber (Bret) along with 22 nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Renee of 29 years, together for 33 and his two children, Marissa (Fiance Rick Beahn and son Kaden) and Mikey whom he adored beyond measure. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20th at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home in Basking Ridge, NJ from 10AM - 12PM. Burial services immediately to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.
