Obituary of Evelyn F Story

Evelyn F Story, 93, passed away peacefully at her home on June 1, 2020. Born in Summit, Evelyn raised her 2 sons in Millington, in the home she and her late husband built. She was retired from AT&T after 25 years of service. Evelyn was a small women with a big spirit and even bigger heart. She was happiest when she was with her family, caring for Tina her Chihuahua, tending to her home, cooking a great meal or spending time by the water in Lanoka Harbor. “Grandma Story/Aunt Ev” will be greatly missed, as her passing has left a hole in our hearts. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Arthur, Sr., her parents, Mary & Joseph Frankosky, her sister Marion Akita; her brothers, Fred, Charles, Stanley, Edward, and Joseph. Evelyn is survived by two sons and their wives, Arthur, Jr. and Susan Story of Lake Worth, FL, Keith and Donna Story of Piscataway; three grandchildren and their spouses, Elizabeth Story-Roller, MD and Brian Roller of Columbia, MD, Patrick & Stephanie Story of Hackettstown, William and Holly Story of Jupiter, FL; her sister, Lois Johnson of Basking Ridge, two great-granddaughters, Ashlyn Story and Leah Roller and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please spend a day with your family.
