Obituary of Dorothy May Ciklamini

Dorothy Ciklamini, 92, passed away on May 18, 2020 after a brief illness. A lifelong New Jersey resident, she attended Plainfield High School and the Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She married William Ciklamini on July 22, 1950. They lived in Watchung, NJ before settling in the home William built in Basking Ridge. Dorothy loved and was proud of her career in nursing. She worked as a Nursing Supervisor of the maternity unit at the Orange Memorial Hospital and as a Recovery Room nurse at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. She was a tiny women with a feisty spirit, Dorothy was happiest when spending time with her family, reading a great book, or spending time by the water at Cape Cod or the Delaware River. She was predeased by her father, Kenneth Simpson Cruver, her mother, Regina Duffy Cruver, and her sister, Betty Jean Cruver. She is survived by her loving husband William, her son Joseph, and her daughter Pamela. She is also survived by her son-in-law Michael and two granddaughters, Katherine and Julia.
