Obituary of Thomas Robert McNamara

Thomas Robert McNamara, 87, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away on May, 8, 2020 at home. Thomas was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Thomas G. McNamara and Ellen Conklin on April 20, 1933. He attended Newtown High School in Queens, NY. He enlisted with the United States Marine Corps. in 1950 and served overseas in the Korean War. He then worked as a floor broker on the American Stock Exchange. Thomas enjoyed trips to Saratoga, NY every summer and loved to watch the horses run. He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Thomas is survived by his wife Ann, of 63 years, children Thomas of Florida, Marc of Pennsylvania, Robert of Ewing, NJ and his wife Cherish, and Kristine of Basking Ridge. He is also survived by grandchildren Patty, Robin, Craig, Brian, and Brady, great grandchild Jonathan, and several nieces and nephews.
