Obituary of Lorraine Mallek

Lorraine L. on April 16, 2020, at the age of 95, beloved wife of the late Alfred Mallek, survived by her three sons and their spouses, Martin Mallek and Christine, Michael Mallek and Karen, Matthew Mallek and Katherine. She was the loving grandmother to 6 (Diane, Gregory, Theodore, Samantha, Nicholas and Brian and great grandmother to 1 (Owen). She is also survived by brothers, Joseph Sablon and William Sablon. Lorraine, the second eldest of 8 children was born in Fall River, MA and a longtime resident of West Orange and later Basking Ridge, NJ. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Rosary Society in Orange, NJ and Red Hat Society in Basking Ridge. A memorial celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Entombment will take place at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 through the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, Basking Ridge. The family wishes to thank everyone for their expressions of sympathy and condolences during this difficult time.
