Obituary of Lewis P Herklotz, Jr.

Lewis Paul Herklotz, Jr. 68, of Basking Ridge passed away on April 12, 2020 at his home. He was born April 27, 1951 in Morristown, NJ. The son of the late Lewis Paul Herklotz, Sr. and the late Dorothy C. Hambacher Herklotz. He was drafted into the Vietnam War right out of high school, which he served proudly. He worked as a concrete truck driver for over 40 years. As an avid diver he and his partner Marianne dove all over the Caribbean. In their later years they would adventure to Europe. Where they visited Normandy Beach where both their fathers landed in World War II. He is survived by his partner Marianne of nearly 40 years. His sons Wesley and Harrison, brothers Mark and Keith, and 1 niece Katie. He is predeceased by his parents. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, 11:00am at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
