Mr. Condon was always a nice neighbor. Every time I drove past and he was outside, he would always send me a wave and a smile.
He was also a very good person to talk to, especially after school when he would tend to his yard. I never had difficulty talking to him, and I respected him.
His small gestures really helped me cheer up when I had a bad day. He helped me realize that every day is a gift, and always keeping a smile on your face is the best way to go through life.
I wish I could have seen him before he left us, but I will never forget waving back to him every time I passed the house. Lewis Street won't be the same without him, but I'm sure all of the neighbors will miss him as much as I do.
