Obituary of Gudrun Runge

Gudrun Runge, 71, daughter of Karl and Elisabeth Wetzel passed away Monday, May 21 after a long illness with cancer. She was born in Aken, Germany and moved to the United States when she was fourteen and settled in the Bernardsville area. Some of her favorite activities were travelling, going for walks, and taking long swims at the Bernardsville pool. Gudrun will be greatly missed for her warm heart and kindness of spirit. She was predeceased by husband George Runge. Surviving are her son Marc Ruschmann and daughter in law Margaret of Wayne, Pa, and daughter Wendi Ruschmann and husband Lee Cress of Charlottesville, Virginia as well as her longtime partner Robert Myers of Bernardsville, NJ. Grandchildren, William and Austin Cress and Elisabeth and Michael Ruschmann. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 25 from 10am-noon followed by the funeral service starting at noon at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
