Obituary of Frank A DiNapoli

Frank A. DiNapoli, 78, of Bernardsville, NJ passed away on Feb. 2, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Montclair, NJ. Frank Graduated from Montclair High School Class of 1959. Frank moved to West Orange prior to relocating to Bernardsville, where he lived for the past 30 years. Frank was predeceased by the love of his life and high school sweetheart Leona in 2007, they were married for 44 years. Frank is survived by his 3 sons, Frank Jr, Bernardsville, Michael, Harding Township, Bobby (Melissa) Harding Township and 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, and James. Also surviving His brother John DiNapoli, sister in laws, Angela, Diane, Suzanne, Julie, and Benay. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. His brother Joseph predeceased him. Frank proudly enlisted in the Army reserves when he was a young man, honored to serve his country. Mr. DiNapoli owned and operated multiple car washes during his working years and proudly served the greater Bernardsville area for the past 30 years as the owner of DiNapoli Enterprises-Bernardsville Car Wash. Even after his retirement, Mr. DiNapoli would often be found on weekends working at the car wash, that is after he meticulously manicured his property. He was also the past president of the NJ Car Wash Owners Association. Frank proudly welcomed his 3 sons to work with him, later taking over the car wash business upon his retirement. In recent years, Frank enjoyed spending his winters in Highland Beach, Fl. and for the past 30 years he enjoyed summers in Point Pleasant Beach NJ. On the rare occasion Frank wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Friends and family are invited to visit on Feb. 5, 4-8pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Feb. 6 at 10:00am at the Church of St. James, 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge.
