Obituary of Marion Moeller

Marion C. Moeller 86, passed away on August 18, 2019 in Basking Ridge NJ surrounded by her loving family. 

Marion was born on March 19, 1933 in West Paterson NJ to the late Mario Rosellini and Nicolina (nee Tedeschi).  She grew up in West Paterson and graduated from Passaic Valley High School in 1950.  Her yearbook quote was "the kind of girl it is pleasant to have for a friend". Marion lived these words, as nothing was more important to her than family and friends. 

Before high school graduation, Marion was employed as a Secretary for Instrument Specialties.  Through her work, she met her husband of 50 years Herman. She spent many wonderful and fulfilling years at home raising her two children Joseph & Nicole.  In the mid 80's she went back to work for Chase Bank and retired after 21 years as the Private Banking Executive Conference Center Manager.  

After her retirement Marion became very involved with The Friends of Rutherford Hall, Friends & Neighbors of Allamuchy and the Recreation Committee of Panther Valley.  Marion had resided in Allamuchy NJ since 1994.

Throughout her life she lived in NJ, PA & CT, always considering NJ to be her home. Marion loved to travel, read & sing.  She was very active with the Yankee Maids, Sweet Adeline’s when she lived in Ct.  She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed competing in many singing competitions.  

What brought her the most joy was spending time with her three grandchildren.  Marion was a loving & supportive wife, mother and grandmother.  Marion is survived by her husband Herman of 50 years, her son Joseph and his wife Tanya, her daughter Nicole and her husband Edward and her three grandchildren, Allison, Colin and Margeaux.  She is also survived by her brother Mario Rosellini and many nieces and nephews. Marion is predeceased by her brother John. 

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge on Thursday, August 22, 2019from 2-4 PMand 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. James Church , 184 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge on Friday August 23rd at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
