Obituary of Dorothy N Frame

Dorothy N. Frame, 87, of Bridgewater, passed away on August 4, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  She previously was a resident of Bernardsville and Basking Ridge.

Dorothy was born on August 29, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Homer F. and Ellen (Fitzgerald) Hodel. The youngest of four sisters, Dorothy graduated from St. John Academy in Indianapolis. After graduation she worked at the local telephone company. Dorothy went on to work in the Insurance Department of Beneficial Financial Corporation for over twenty years. In retirement, Dorothy enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, spending time with loved ones, and traveling.

Prior to moving to Basking Ridge, Dorothy was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bernardsville where she sang in the choir and taught religious education classes.  After moving to Basking Ridge, Dorothy joined St. James Church where she participated in the book club and Bible study.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Susan E. (Robert) Davies, her sister Theresa Ann Muschalik of Houston, TX, and two grandchildren, Emily A. Davies and Robert A. Davies. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, James L. Frame II.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 9:30-10:30am at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8, 2019 at 11 am at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Avenue, in Basking Ridge. Interment will be private.
