Diane & I extend our condolences to Ginger and the large extended family of Duke Link. He was indeed a man of many talents and passions. He shared those passions with others very freely and warmly. I enjoyed many golf outings with Duke. He was a competitor at heart but always demonstrated the objective of the day was to enjoy the game with friends. I also attended races of "don't tell the kids" with Duke...that horse made him very proud and gave him outright joy.
He always had that same smile and friendly chuckle whenever he greeted you, whether it was purely a social event or more business oriented (we did a lot of business together).
I learned a lot from Duke Link. He shared his knowledge and experiences with you freely. He was quick to lend a helping hand. He cared about others. He set an example for others to follow. Thank you for all you gave us Duke. We all will miss you.
Rest in Peace Mr. Link.

My deepest condolences to the family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Duke again.
Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

My deepest sympathy to the entire family for your loss. During this difficult time, I hope you always hold onto the warm and wonderful memories you shared together, and that they continue to bring you and your entire family comfort and peace. May the words of 1 Peter 5:7 “ while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Wayne’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

To the Link clan; Robin and I send our condolences and prayers to Ginger, the girls and huge family. Mr. Link helped me get started in my career at Marsh & McLennan. I never forgot that.
I vividly recall his presence at my Dad's poker games. Not positive but I believe he always walked away with more than he came with. I remember his happiness when Scarlet Invader won, or almost did. I remember the laughs from the den when Duke, Ginger, Jim, Mary, Mom and Dad would get together for an impromptu cocktail hour. What a crew! God Bless Duke and all the Links around the country. Fondly Joe and Robin Brennan.
