Maria’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I feel very blessed in that I knew Maria not only as a co-worker and friend but as a part of my family. I have fond memories putting together boxes with her on a Saturday at the Alpha offices, eating lunch with her in the breakroom, listening to her share stories about her life and family, and even watching the "firey" side of her come out when something stressful happened. Maria adored her daughter Rachel, granddaughter Liz, and great-granddaughter Ali. I am lucky to know them all and am sending my love, thoughts, and prayers.
