Obituary of Margaret D Marancik

Margaret Dermody Marancik was born on February 17, 1928 to William Anthony Dermody and Lillian Louise Spencer.  She was welcomed into heaven on September 30th, 2018. Margaret was born and raised in Roselle, New Jersey and spent her formative years there, graduating from Abraham Clark High School. She went on to work in New York City and loved all of the exciting and innovative aspects of the city. Margaret was an avid reader, smart bridge player, lover of history, talented seamstress and needle craftsmen. Most importantly, she was a devoted and loving mother. Her life revolved around her family and she loved nothing more than having everyone together to talk, laugh, and exchange ideas. She was, and will always be, deeply loved. Margaret is survived by her children Elizabeth Marancik, Mary Ellen DeVito, David Marancik, Jane Marancik, and Andy Marancik; her grandchildren Alexis Ranalli, Spencer Carson, Melissa DeVito, Emily DeVito, and Noah Marancik; as well as her great grandchildren Madison Ranalli and Jude Ranalli. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. from 11:00 - 12:00pm. Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.
