Obituary of Irene Baer

CHESTER TOWNSHIP – Irene Louise Baer died peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2018. She was 83.

Born in Morristown, she grew up in Mendham Township and later moved to Millington. In 1961, she moved to Chester Township.

She was the owner of Baer Floor Covering in Chester for many years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her four cherished grandchildren were the light of her life.

Irene was the daughter of Alfred and Alice Appleby. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Paul, who died in 2004.

Survivors include her three devoted daughters, Linda of Chester Township; Debbie and her husband, Peter, of Moneta, Virginia, and their children, Kayla and Keith; and Susan and her husband, Kevin, of Chester Township and their two sons, Matthew and Scott. She also is survived by a brother, Arthur Appleby, and a sister, Doy Drake, both of California. She will be missed by many in the extended family.
