Dear Bruce,
So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. She was such a special friend to me during our time together at the Howard Savings Investment Dept. I was working there right out of high school, while attending night classes for a year, before college. Barbara was my mentor and friend. She was so efficient at her job but always had time to be a friend and share a laugh or smile. I visited your home back then, and also her mom's. Such a wonderful cook! I was thinking about yesterday and googled her name.
So sad to find the obituary.
She is not suffering now and is able to look after those grands from her new home. May God be with you Bruce and your family.

Barbara’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

My deepest condolences to the family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Barbara again.
Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

Our Deepest Sympathy for the Wilber Family on the passing of Barbara. One remarkable friend who was loving, funny(with her infectious laugh), and that big smile that would light up the room. Barbara was a close friend of the family for soooo many years starting with her friendship to Carol (Monds) Merten in Battin High School and then a bridesmaid for Carol and Ed in September 1957, to the continued friendship with Bruce and her family over 60 years. Barbara has now joined her very special friend Carol in heaven after just a short few weeks of Carol arriving in heaven and we are VERY sure Carol is there welcoming Barbara to eternal friendship with the Lord standing by their sides. We all understand the grief and sorrow you all are feeling and are sending prayers, love, and hugs to you all at this difficult time.

I'm sad to learn today of the news of Barbara's passing. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. I worked with Barbara at AT&T for several years, she was always there to lend a helping hand with a big smile and wonderful sense of humor. Barbara had such a kind and loving heart, she would go out shopping or to Disney and come home with items for my daughter Paige. She always had a shoulder to lean on and sound advice. Barbara was a wonderful woman with a big giant heart and I feel so blessed to have known her.

My condolences to the Wilber family. I had the pleasure of working with Barbara at AT&T. She was always impeccably dressed, had a wonderful sense of humor that brightened the office. Barbara delighted in her family, especially sharing her grandchildren's activities and pictures. In between sharing her treats and the guidance she gave me, we somehow completed our work. There were a few times she schooled me the 20 something just learning the ropes at AT&T, lessons I have taken with me over the years. I am truly fortunate to have known Barbara, she will be remembered with much love.

I was saddened to get the call that Barbara had passed. I remember many years of visiting my Aunt Edna and Uncle Ed and spending time with Barbara, Alice and Tom. Although famine grows when they move on, I was fortunate that I settled in Basking Ridge and reconnected with Barbara and Bruce. Barbara was a classy, smart women and loving family member. My heart goes out to Bruce and his children on their loss. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
Love,
Cousin Patty Gallagher

Barbara was my cousin.
Barbara and Bruce came to visit us in Florida. My mother so enjoyed visiting with them.
Barbara was very kind and was always involved with her church. I remember her as a caring person who always helped others and was a great mom and wife.
She will be missed by all in her family.
