Obituary of Elnora Lillian Phillips

Elorna Lillian Phillips, 77, of Basking Ridge, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living after a long illness. Lillian grew up in Mendham before moving to Basking Ridge in 1983 where she spent most of her life. She worked for many years at Morris County Savings Bank as an Executive Secretary. Lillian was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Warren, NJ for many years, and was very active in the church.  She was very active in the Somerset County VNA, and loved to help with the VNA rummage sale, and on her free time she loved bowling, and camping. She also had a love for cats.

Lillian is predeceased by her loving husband Thomas R. Phillips in 2008. She is survived by her sister Ethel Ann Mosher, her brother Walter G. Mosher and wife Barbara. Also, survived by her goddaughter Heather, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, 11:00am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
