Obituary of Wayne T Mathews

Wayne Thomas Mathews passed peacefully in his sleep 5-27-2018. 

Cigarettes ended his life with C.O.P.D. Although he knew it was killing him the addiction was too great for him to stop.  

Wayne was a kind soul who spent his life looking for someone who could love him as much as he would love them.  

A brilliant young man who never had the opportunity to flourish. 

A giving person who was taken advantage of over and over.  

A dedicated honest person who was true to his word.  

Wayne truly deserved better than the hand life dealt him.    

He was loved deeply by his friends and family.  His passing leaves a void that can never be filled. 

He is predeceased by his mother, Geraldine and Father, Thomas.  

He is survived by his brother Bryan, sister-in-law Clara, and nephews, Stephen and Nicholas.    

Vistation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. Service will be at 7:00pm on Thursday. Graveside service will be Friday, June 1, 2018, 11:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
