Dear family of Glen:
I was very sad to learn, very recently of the passing of Glen. I worked at the Methodist church for many years, and interacted with Glen at the church often, especially years ago when he worked with Bob Boak. They used to deliver firewood to our home, from trees that were taken down at the cemetery. Glen would come in to the office and we would often chat. A while back, I ran into him in town, and it had been many years since we’d seen each other. Glen said, “Gail! How are you doing”? He was genuinely glad to see me, and I just thought that it was very sweet. We spoke for a bit, and am very grateful that I had this opportunity. I will always fondly remember Glen’s warm smile. May God give your family His peace and comfort. Sincerely, Gail Nicholas

Glen’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20140101/

Please accept my deepest condolences. The following words have helped many to cope with the loss of someone special. 1 Corinthians 1: 3, 4 states "Praise be the God and Father or our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials..."
Our Father, Jehovah God, will help your family and friends cope with such a difficult loss. In 1 Corinthians 15:26 he promises us that "the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing." I hope the family and friends can find some comfort in this promise.
