Obituary of Dennis Andrew Boyle

Dennis Andrew Boyle, age 88, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on February 7, 2012. Dennis was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1923, and served in the Army during World War II, earning the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars. He graduated from Iona College in 1951 and obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 1954. He and the love of his life, Regina Ann Moore, who survives him, were married in 1952. They have seven children and 17 grandchildren. Dennis was an executive at AT&T, spending most of his 25-year tenure in the treasury department. During the divestiture of AT&T, Dennis oversaw one of the largest issuances of public securities in history. He also worked for Bell Atlantic Mobile in the nascent era of wireless telephony. Dennis is survived by all of his children, Robert D. Boyle of Madison, NJ, John W. Boyle of Fairfax, VA, Thomas J. Boyle of Basking Ridge, NJ, Joseph A. Boyle of Basking Ridge, NJ, Mary Boyle Rauch of Chatham, NJ, Jane Boyle Herron of Basking Ridge, NJ and Jean M. Boyle of Boston, MA. Visitation will be held on February 10, 2012 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on February 10, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at St. James Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.
