Obituary of Marie B Wojnar
Marie B Wojnar, 92, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away on Sunday January 22, 2012 at her home.
Born in Newark, NJ, Marie resided in Irvington, until 1941 when she moved to Warren. In 1961 she moved to Basking Ridge where she currently resided.
Marie was a founding and charter member of the Liberty Corner First Aid Squad, former President of the Washington Valley Auxillary Volunteer Fire Dept., and a member of the Rosary Society at the Our Lady of the Mount Church.
She was pre deceased by her husband of 37 years Walter in 1976, as well as her parents Robert and Eugenia Smith.
Surviving is her daughter Eugenia Milito, two grandsons James and Daniel Milito, two great-grandchildren Peyton and Sierra, and her sister Jean Wojnar.
A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 at 10:30am at the Our Lady of the Mount Church, 167 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, NJ, followed by interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt Airy Road, Basking Ridge. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
