Obituary of Dennis Cipriano

DENNIS ALAN CIPRIANO Husband, Father, Friend, Attorney Dennis Alan Cipriano, 69, of Basking Ridge, NJ passed away while in the comfort of two of his daughters, Melissa Cipriano and Cheryl Nakashian, his wife Pamela and her son Derek Platov, on June 26, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born January 12, 1942 in Newark, NJ, Dennis spent his childhood in Newark before moving on to Rutgers University and then Cornell University Law School. Dennis was a self-employed attorney out of West Orange, NJ. Being an attorney was Dennis's passion for the past 45 years. He was the recipient of many awards and was often quoted in newspapers. Dennis also had a home in Brielle, NJ, where he spent much time relaxing while reading on the beach. Dennis had a love of great food, wine, music, movies and his two bulldogs. He was a proud grandfather of five. Dennis was the son of the late Rose and Daniel Cipriano. He is survived by his wife Pamela, his daughters Melissa Cipriano and her two children Robert Joseph and Juliana Rose of Bernardsville, Cheryl Nakashian, her husband Marc and their two children, Marc Daniel and Carina Rose, also of Bernardsville, and Christina Cipriano, her husband Fred Bremer, and their son Toliver of Lolo, Montana. Stepson Derek Platov also survives him. Dennis has a brother, Robert Cipriano, his wife, Rafaela and their two children, Michele and Jennifer. A Funeral Service will be held at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ on Thursday June, 30th at 12:30 PM. Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday June, 29th & on Thursday June, 30th from 10:30-12:30 PM at the Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home.
