Obituary of Jayne R Stehman

Morris Township- Jayne Ferrante Stehman (Galdieri) of Morris Township died on Wed. June 22 at her residence. Born and raised in Morristown, Jayne then moved to Bernardsville where she resided for 25 years. In 1981 she returned to Morris Township. Jayne was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's Academy in Convent Station, and the College of St. Elizabeth also in Convent Station. She was active in her community, church and many other charitable causes. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church in New Vernon, a member of Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, Mendham Golf and Tennis Club in Mendham and the Alumni Association of the College of St. Elizabeth. She was a former member of the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bernardsville. Jayne has been blessed to spend the last 30 years married to her husband John R. Stehman. Her greatest enjoyment was devoting her life to celebrating the lives of her children, grand children and great grand children. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Dominic J and Jane Galdieri and is survived in addition to her husband, a son James Ferrante his wife, Marianne of Franklin Twp., Deborah Knobloch of Bridgewater, and Carol Ann and husband Thomas Johnson of Florham Park. She is also survived by step daughter Carolyn Holloway and husband Rick of Spring Texas, step son Robert Stehman of Lititz, Pa, grandchildren, Katherine and Gregory Knobloch of Bridgewater, Stephanie and Rachel Johnson of Florham Park, Vincent Fanghella of California, John and Rebecca Fanghella of Spring, Texas, Tyler Holloway of Spring, Texas, great grand-daughter Emma Fanghella, Spring, Texas, and sister Carol Ann Shea of Potomac, MD. Many cousins, nieces and nephews. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 27, 10AM at the Church of Christ of King, Blue Mill Rd., and New Vernon. Interment will follow at the Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown. Relatives and friends may visit with the Family Sunday 2-6PM at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ.
