Edward John Harvey Jr. of Basking Ridge, 82, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at his home. Born in Derby, CT, September 6, 1928, to Edward John Harvey and Eunice Neal Harvey, Edward (Jack to family and friends) graduated from Danbury High School and then earned a fine arts degree from Syracuse University. After graduation he served in the United States Army Counterintelligence Corps during the Korean conflict. He subsequently enjoyed a long and successful career in the advertising industry. As a vice president of television with the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency in New York, he produced many commercials for the Ford Motor Company. Surviving are his four children: Ned, Todd, Blake and Heather; and five grandchildren: Lydia, Jake, William, Skylar, and Weston. A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2pm to 6pm at the Old Mill Inn in Basking Ridge.
