Before Brightwater, the Ryan family lived for a decade or so in Brooklyn. Because we were born a day apart, Jack and I shared teachers and friends at St. Rose grammar school. As I still live in the old neighborhood, I often pass the Ryan home while bike riding. This always brings back fond memories of Jack, his sisters and especially their mother. We always played at Jack's house. Many years ago I was sad when my friend moved to LI. I am again sad to read of his passing.

Belateded condolences to you all from a former AT&T colleague of Jack's who was fortunate enough to be welcomed back to his job at AT&T's 811 Tenth Avenue facility by Jack, in 1967, following my 2 years of leave from AT&T while serving in the US Army.
Over the next few years I had the pleasure of working for and with Jack at he 811 facility until our career paths took different directions.
I was saddened to learn, just today, of Jack's passing and wanted you to know he is fondly remembered by a number of us who got to know and work with him early in all of our respective, AT&T careers.
