Eileen’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

My prayers are with Mrs. Hirce's family and loved ones during this time. Mrs. Hirce was an amazing teacher who gave her students so much more than just knowldge. She gave us compassion, the ability to beleive in ourselves and our capabilities, and confidence, and perseverance. She was an amazing role model and mentor.

Dear Hirce Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
Mrs. Hirce was a wonderful person who inspired me and provided me with endless insight about life. She was a brilliant scholar and an amazing person. I loved our conversations on a million topics including biology, education, the beach, careers, politics, religion, family, swimming and baseball (even though the entire Hirce family are Yankees fans and I root for a 'different' city's team...). She even taught me how to cook a few dishes which has been quite helpful and her gazpacho is a staple in my kitchen during warmer weather.
Please accept my condolences. I will never forget Mrs. Hirce. I am thinking of the entire Hirce family.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Michelle Sara King

Heaven has a new angel, rest in peace my dear friend, I will always look back fondly at the years we spent together teaching at the Mount. We had many a laugh waiting for our coffee in the cafe in the morning and sharing Lord&Taylor coupons ☕☕

Mrs. Hirse was an incredible lady, teacher & mentor to our daughter Cara Giordano. Cara was in the Mt St. Dominic Academy class of 2009 and it was because of her guidance and wonderful teaching ability that our daughter is now in graduate school at the University of Delaware studying Molecular Biology.
We have many fond memories of Mrs. Hirse.
Our prayers and condolences go out to the Hirse family. We will always remember and have a special place in our hearts for this very special lady.
Love,
The Giordano family

Mrs. Hirce was without doubt my most inspirational teacher. She inspired and empowered me to pursue a career in science and medicine.
As I look to graduate from medical school this May, I think of how Mrs. Hirce gave me the confidence to follow my dream of becoming a doctor.
Thank you, Mrs. Hirce
