Its been awhile yeah? I've changed my name again, I think you would've liked the name Ashton, and i'm not with that girl anymore- she's still a good friend though. Today I was talking to someone about you and it made me relive some memories that were bittersweet. I wish i could've seen you one more time- I wish even more that I would have known that when we played that game of crazy eight's, and i said goodbye, it would be the last time. Sometimes I think you let me win that last game. I miss you. You taught me so much that ive only realized as i've gotten older.
I love you.

hi paul,
you never knew me. i never knew you. but i know someone you loved so very much. you taught him a lot of important things, he loves you very much. thank you for your service in the navy <3 i can look at your photo and see how much love and joy you radiate. your eyes are filled with happiness, your smile filled with love. you were so dear to someone very very close to me, thank you for teaching him to light a fire, to swim, and to make eggs. you (metaphorically) kept him from drowning through so many hard times. i hope you are enjoying whatever you believed in, whether you were reincarnated, you're enjoying your time in heaven, or still roaming earth as a ghost. you were the small light that made his dark universe so much brighter.
love, ronnie
