We will miss “Bill” Mr. Draper very much. He was our neighbor friend part of our extended family! Margie and Bill welcomed us into their home 34 years ago when we move Dawn Drive! Over the years were blessed to spend great times/ celebrating holidays- sharing meals at both our homes! Bill truly loved Lonnie's cooking!! Lamar was so fortunate to have caring neighbors watch him grow & spend time with them ; highlights was when Darlene dressed for their wedding at the Drapers & took beautiful pictures among their lovely flowers! Our grandchildren also loved visiting them playing with toys & swinging on porch swing & seeing their pictures on the refrigerator! Most recently I was blessed to be able to attend Bishop Janes Baptist Church with Bill & become involved with ladies groups & made many friends! What a wonderful special time experience I had! We all enjoyed visiting Bill at the Deaconry, at his new home which added more super precious memories and stories for all!
We will keep Bill's family, Ruth and friends in our daily prayers!
Love
Lonnie LeMoyne Lamar Darlene Jaelynn Jordyn Jarius Robinson

To the family of William Draper Sr
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. For words of encouragement please go to JW.org
Sincerely,
Roberta

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Bill for the past 20 years. I miss our conversations. Everyone who encountered Bill became better people as a result. His knowledge and humor were things I will always remember about him. God Bless Bill and his family. May God provide you all the strength to get through this time and may his memory be eternal.

Bill was always an inspiration to our family. We frequently saw him out on running, along with the great spiritual witness he provided in serving BJUMC. His remarkable recovery from the stroke was a testament to his strength and dedication.
It was a great joy to greet Bill each week at services and hear his stories. We will miss his laugh and wonderful elocution!
Condolences to his family and friends

Our sincere sympathy on the passing of a gentle giant of Bishop Janes United Methodist Church. Bill was our first computer wizard before most new what a .com meant. He loved doing church and community statistics which helped us all in planning. He played a huge role in building the Dutcher Center, and new every nook and crany of the church. And always took a huge interest in the business of the church and was generous with his gifts, time, and talents. He was a regular at ROMEO’s (Retired Old Old Men Eating Out) until the very end and will be sorely missed by all.
