Obituary of Kevin A Pearce

Kevin A. Pearce, 56, of Milford, NJ, and Ellsworth, ME, died suddenly at home on October 20th, 2017. Kevin was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 27 years, Pamela (Joest) Pearce. Together, they have two children, Lilly and Jack, whom Kevin deeply loved. Born on September 14, 1961, Kevin was a generous and selfless individual who went on frequent mission trips to Guatemala to deliver much-needed hands-on support to a vital dental-care program. He was also a thoughtful and caring friend to many. A skilled craftsman, Kevin completed countless woodworking projects over the years, including birdhouses, furniture, and scenery for the local school's theater productions. Above all, Kevin adored spending time with his wife and children, with whom he was incredibly close. The family especially loved traveling together and spending time at their cabin in Maine. Kevin is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Pearce, his sisters, Lynn and Jann, and Jann's husband, Michael. On his wife's side, he is survived by his siblings-in-law, Linda Joest, George and Laureen Joest, and Christian and Diane Joest. Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, 11:00am at The Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1 East Oak Street, Basking Ridge, NJ.
