Elsie was a shining example of a life well lived. She was clearly a wonderful wife and Mother, and an exceptionally giving and spiritual woman. She will be sorely missed.
Fox, I am sure this is a painful loss for you, as the bond you two shared was special indeed. God Bless you and your family and know that I will keep you in my prayers.

What a beautiful woman and person, Mrs. Stoddard was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. I have a special place in my heart for teachers. They were instrumental in raising my children to becoming responsible and law-abiding citizens, and for that I know that, she was an amazing woman! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 11:25, which says, " Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." This is the hope of the resurrection. I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved wife, mother, grandma and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org - healingwordsforu@gmail.com

I loved Elsie and will cherish especially the memory of times shared in the Wednesday morning meditation group. We prayed together during our recent visit to Basking Ridge and sang "The Lord is Good to Me ." Praise God for her life among us.
