Obituary of Howard Joseph Drexler

Howard Drexler, 84, passed away on Monday November 22, 2010 in Basking Ridge. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 11:00am at the St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. Howard served his country proudly in the United States Navy during WWII where he received the Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, European Theatre Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was the Third Leading Knight, the Leading Knight as well as the Exalted Ruler for the Elks Lodge # 1744. Surviving are his wife of 63 years Olive Drexler, three sons David, Daniel, and Donald, two daughters Deborah Richards, and Dorothy Rooney, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
